Agrotech Chlorothalonil 500 SC has been withdrawn from use in the UK.

The Health and Safety Executive revoked the pesticide’s licence on Wednesday (19 May), meaning it can no longer be used, sold supplied or advertised. Farmers can store the product until 31 July 2010.

A DEFRA spokesman said that the formulation of the product sold on the market did not match that which was registered with the Chemicals Regulation Directorate.
